 So it maybe kind of got thrown around in the back room - the idea of AMALGAM AUs for pups.

Amalgam was a DC/Marvel Crossover event in the 1990s that created stories and characters set in one universe that was a bit like both universes. It featured such groups as:

SHIELD
JUDGEMENT LEAGUE AVENGERS
JLX (Justice League X - made up of mutants)

And had such characters as Super-Soldier; (Cap x Superman); Dark Claw(Wolvie x Batman); Bruce Wayne: Agent of SHIELD; and Wonder Woman (Princess Ororo of Themiscyra)

Anyway, I don't want top suggest everyone read all the comics and play by canon (where's the fun in that) but would anyone be interested in running with these ideas? Say, taking a character that isn't currently in bar and melding it with yours, or finding a place for your pup in the amalgamated universe?

Want to play your Avenger character in the Justice League? Think your Justice character would make an awesome mutant?

Dinah Morse? Oliver Barton? Bart Maximoff?

Following the Amalgam pattern, since they combined Logan and Bruce Wayne, X could be paired with Batgirl. Or Damien (A female clone of Dark-Claw taken by Ra's A-Pocalypse?).

I'm not sure how Invincible would fit into it. The Amalgam Universe worked because of the long-standing dichotomy between Marvel and DC allowed sort of a crossover. Image doesn't really have a opposite, and it's scattered all over the place when it comes to continuity (trying to tie "Invincible," "The Walking Dead," "RunLoveKill," "Tooth & Claw," and "Atomic Robo" all into the same continuity would make my head explode). There's not really another superhero 'verse out there that he could pair off with.

Invincible Noir, on the other hand, would be work well. Son of a well-respected public figure who turns out to be a criminal, villain, and/or monster? Sounds pretty film noir to me.

I third the idea of Sam Hall (or Carter Wilson), the Falconhawk (Falconman?).

Rikki would totally be mashed up with Charlie Gage-Radcliffe (Rikki Barnes-Radcliffe?), because the law of conservation of redheaded homeless teenage girl superheroes! IT IS IMPORTANT.

OH ALSO. I think if I amalgamated Bart, he'd probably be smooshed together with Tommy Shepherd. Aaaaaand assuming I have Tim Drake by them, I have... no idea, actually. HMMM.

The nearest thing in 'canon' to Tim Drake was Jubilation Lee, aka Sparrow (as in Dark Claw and...) but you could also smush him with Cypher?

(Bart/Quicksilver was called Mercury. I like him better as a Tommy Shephard smushup)

I'm pretty sure she was a Carrie Kelley mash-up, actually! She was wearing Carrie's version of the Robin suit.

(Ooh, I might roll with that name, though. But yeah, I think Tommy and Bart would fit together more smoothly.)

I don't know the expanded Marvel universe well enough to say how you'd cross Jason Todd over. Except for him as another Winter Soldier.

And ahahaha, thank you for the clarification -- Billy Batson was not my first thought. (But omg, a Carol-Thor amalgam would also be A THING. So blond, so much punching! Alas that they are, in fact, both Marvel, and also we have a great Carol in-bar.) Hmmm! As far as Billy Baston Captain Marvel goes, I basically just know the premise, without a really solid sense of his personality. I'm willing to look into it, though.

In the Dark Claw comics Carol Danvers was Huntress, which I think is a stupid crossover. I would much rather see Carol as Power Girl.

Well, at the time, I think Carol was sans superpowers, so the Huntress works. But I agree with the Power Girl crossover.
