The next part, well, Hal isn't exactly sure what happens, because it goes by way too fast, but it looks like the Canary manages to free the Flash with her voice, and the Flash does his thing, pummeling the wood alien to pieces.

He's just a blur of red at that point, but Hal has to admit, the Flash really gets the job done. Sounds like he banged up his fists something fierce, though. Hal's punched a few trees in frustration in his day, so he knows how much the guy must be hurting.

Of course, when the blonde starts moving to give him a hug or whatever, Hal steps on the moment nice and hard:

"We all did it, including Mr. Domino-Effect over here. Nice going--Aquaman, isn't it?"

That might be the Flash, but Hal can move fast too.
